Aeronautica Windpower solves blade manufacturing dilemma and partners with Energetx Composites on 26m blade (54m rotor) for the AW 750

Aeronautica Windpower entered into a business relationship with Energetx Composites (Holland, MI) to take over the blade manufacturing process to build for Aeronautica's 26m blade for the AW 54-750. Aeronautica's previous blade manufacturer entered into bankruptcy and closed operations in the US. Aeronautica moved their molds from the Evansville, IN facility to Holland, MI where Energetx Composites has a very large facility, manpower, and financial where-with-all to continue manufacturing the wildly successful blade for the AW750kW turbine. Production seen on the machine has proven to bring top-end results of nearly 820kW in peak wind condtions.

Aeronautica expects Energetx to have blades avaialable in Q3 of 2014 for projects Aeronautica is currently working on. Successful implementation of this design and blade has provided for a production and power curve that can rival the competition for turbines under 1MW.
